About Bachelor of Commerce

Bachelor of Commerce[B.com] is an undergraduate Degree course.It was first offered at the University of Birmingham by William Ashley. It's 3 years Degree course but some universities also offered 4 years Course.

B.com can be pursued either as Full-time Graduate Course or Part-time graduate course. It fully depends on you. It normally referred as B.Com or B.Com Pass Course.But you can also go to its advanced level by choosing Honours in B.Com. There are too many universities available which offered Both B.Com Pass and B.Com Honours like Delhi University etc.

What is the difference between B.Com Honours and B.Com Pass?

After 12th students plan to do B.Com but they do not know the defence between B.Com[H] and B.Com[P]. So, I am going to clarify the basic difference between both. The criteria for admission in both courses are almost same with Maths and English as Compulsory Subjects.  First, we talk about B.Com honours as I above mention B.Com[H] is the advanced level of B.Com. When you will study B.com[H] you can also pursue Courses like Charted Accounted. In B.Com [H] you have the option to specialise in a specific Subjects like Accounting.But the cut-off of the various university is very high.On the other hand When you will choose B.Com [P] then you can not get the option to become specialised in a specific subject.In B.Com[P] students are given an overview of all subjects taught in the Honours Course.But the cut-off for this of various universities is relatively low.

Eligibility for B.Com

The eligibility for B.Com are given below you can take a look that you are eligible or not. 

Students must Score 50% marks in 10+2 from a recognised Education Board.But remember these marks are minimum if you want to get admission in regular colleges so you have to score more mark then you will eligible for this.

Normally those students prefer to go for B.Com who have studied Commerce in 10+2. But you can also do this if you had studied Science in 10+2.
